My father is retired and in his spare time he makes jewelry boxes. He's been fascinated by 3D printing, and so I thought it would be cool to learn Fusion 360 to design and print a jewelry box to give to my mom for Christmas. It turned out great, she loved it, he thought it was the coolest thing ever, and I got to learn Fusion 360.
The box is meant to be printed in separate parts and glued together. This allows you to have multiple colors or materials and makes it easier to print. The box is ~160x100x50mm.
I've included the Fusion 360 file in case you'd like to make some changes.
Please post your makes if you decide to print one.
I'm a perfectionist who likes making custom things, and building a reprap printer scratches those itches perfectly. There's nothing more satisfying than designing a part to fix a specific problem and pulling off the perfect print to do it.
