Scrubbie V2

3D model description

Well I tried to put my original Scrubbie in the dishwasher which happened to be set on sanitize and some of it melted away. When I went to make myself a new one I realized the bottom layer was unnecessarily thick so I made it a lot thinner and then I had trouble with the bristles so I changed those around too. The one pictured is in Semiflex. Included is a sample scrubbie test piece so you can be sure your settings are correct before printing the whole thing.

This scrubbie weighs in at 13 grams. I create these designs to encourage people to try out flexible filaments or get some new interesting colors of flexibles. For info on purchasing samples of 6 different types of flexible filament go to flexyfilament.com

3D printing settings

I used the standard Semiflex settings in the Lulzbot version of Cura. These settings are recommend by Flexion_extruder: I put your file into Simplify3D with our standard settings (70mm/s printing, 5mm at 60mm/s retraction) and it says 1 hour 16 minutes. You could go faster with less retraction, but these settings should make it nice and clean.

We developed a great way to distribute cost effective quantities of flexible filament: Splash Spools. A generous amount of filament on a spool with a case so it's not flopping all over the place. Splash Spools store easily in a desk drawer, stacked space or even hang on a wall. Available on www.flexyfilament.com and Amazon. We stock NinjaFlex, Cheetah, SemiFlex, SainSmart, nGen FLEX, FilaFlex and Flexy.
