Welcome to San Luis Potosí, Mexico!

The Cathedral of San Luis Potosí (La Catedral Metropolitana de San Luis Rey) is a beautiful landmark in the capital of the state of San Luis Potosí in central-north Mexico, this model captures some of the fine detail and incredible work that went into the baroque façade of the building. Construction began in 1670 and was completed in 1730. In 1854 it was consecrated as the cathedral (Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Louis_the_King_Cathedral,_San_Luis_Potos%C3%AD).

Monoprice Maker Select V2
20 hour print for this model (the somewhat translucent model in the pictures above, not the white model in the video), and had no significant issues. It had some stringing, and of course the model is quite delicate at some points, but otherwise is fine.

How I Designed This
Dan10105's inspiration and notes
Like all of MiniWorld's models, this one was designed with 3D printing in mind. However, Dan10105 added some delicate details towards the top of the model, so take care with the model after you've printed it. Also, it can be printed hollow to convert it into a lamp.
