Leaning Tower of Pisa

3D model description

This is a model of the leaning tower of Pisa. I recommend to rotate it with 4 degrees (that's the leaning) around the x-axis so that the baseplate is printed diagonally but the tower is printed straight. That looks much better when you put it up later than printed with a straight base plate and a leaning tower.
I also recommend using supports but not too much, because it might be a sisyphean labour to get them our with a needle.

3D printing settings

  • about 10 cm tall
  • 10 hours printing time
  • 20 % infill
  • supports needed
  • 3D model format: STL

Hello, World!
I'm a student who found his fascination for 3D Printing when our school got a 3D Printer. Furthermore I'm interested in modeling things with a CAD software. Have fun while browsing through my things!
If you have special wishes for things I could design, please let me know! :D
